The 2023 Heritage Cup Classic Yacht Regatta will be held on Saturday, September 9th, 2023. Returning after a hiatus, the Heritage Cup Regatta celebrates the art of wooden boat building and classic yacht racing. Participating yachts include vessels built in the 1900s, 20s and 30s up through their more modern fiberglass counterparts. Divisions for classic wooden yachts (CRF MKII rated) as well as separate PHRF divisions for ‘Good Old Boats’ designed in or before 1995.
The Heritage Cup Classic Yacht Regatta is hosted at Sea Cliff Yacht Club in Hempstead Harbor.
A portion of the proceeds from this event help fund scholarships to Hempstead Harbour Club’s Junior Sailing Program.
